  • Open the control panel in your windows
  • Click on devices and printers
  • It will display your printer icon, right-click on the icon
  • Click on “See what’s printing”
  • Now, select the document that you want to stop printing

3. Control Printer By Using A MAC

If you have a MAC or OS X, you can still cancel a print job from the print queue.

  • If you have a printer icon displayed on the dock, click the printer icon to open the print queue
  • But, If you do not have the printer icon on the dock, search for the printers and scanners.
  • A list will be displayed on the screen. Select your printer and then click open queue.
  • This will redirect you to a window that will display the info regarding the printing document.
  • Click the “x” or “cancel” button.

You can also use an Android or Apple OS to stop a printing job.

  • Open the App Switcher
  • The latest models of iPhones do not have a home button, if it does, press it twice
  • If it does not have a home button, swipe up the bottom. Swipe left and tap on the print center.
  • Now, select and tap on the print job that you want to cancel.
  • Tap “ Cancel Printing”

However, if you are using an Apple iPhone to perform the task. There is one thing that you need to keep in mind. When you open the app switcher, the print center option will only be visible if the print job is assigned and under process.
